Team Recognition — The People Behind the Numbers

I want to talk about the people behind the numbers.
Four AKI Company of the Year titles — 2018, 2021, 2023, 2024. Highest growth in life policies sold in 2025. Seven AKI award recognitions across three years of competition.
None of it belongs to me.
It belongs to the Regional Managers who take strategy into the field and make it work in conditions no planning meeting ever anticipated.
It belongs to the Unit Managers who wake up every morning and go to work on their agents — not just their targets. The ones who sit with a struggling agent at the end of a hard week, not because it is in their KPIs, but because they understand that leadership is personal before it is professional.
It belongs to the agents on the ground — in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kampala, Dar es Salaam and everywhere in between — who have conversations every day that most people never see. Conversations that end with a family protected. A business secured. A life changed.
I have spent 23 years in this industry. I have qualified as Africa's first LIMRA Associate Insurance Agency Manager. I have studied the research, built the frameworks and refined the systems.
But the truth is simple: four national titles are not won by frameworks. They are won by people who refuse to settle.
To the entire APA Apollo Group Direct Sales Force across Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania — every award, every recognition, every milestone belongs to you. Keep building.
