Let me put the complete picture on the record, because I think the full body of work deserves to be seen together:

The Association of Kenya Insurers awards are the highest recognition in Kenya's insurance industry. They measure performance across the entire value chain — underwriting, claims, customer service and distribution. You cannot win by being good at one thing. You have to be excellent across the board.

What I can speak to is distribution — because that is what I build.

Four Company of the Year titles are not won by accident. They are won by a Direct Sales Force that is recruited with intention, trained with discipline, and led with accountability. By Regional Managers who own their territories. By Unit Managers who develop their agents as people, not just as producers. By agents on the ground who show up for their clients every single day.

When I qualified as Africa's first LIMRA Associate Insurance Agency Manager in 2016, I committed to applying global best practice to the East African market. These four titles are, in part, what that commitment looks like in practice.
